The Crow is my favorite movie. Well, if anyone reads my quotes my #1 quote is by the late Brandon Lee. I think it is one of those movies you learn from. And especially if you watch Brandon's last on camera interview. I was lucky enough that I got to see it in the theater when it came out and I was just simply amazed. It is definately not an easy movie to watch at some points but I really don't think they could have done any better on it. I haven't seen any of the sequels and for some reason I don't really have a desire too because this one was so good. [img]wink.gif[/img]

DONT see any sequels......they in no way compare
to the original! I started watching part 2...
and I walked away........it just wasnt the same
without Brandon Lee....I never did finish watching
it....

This is perfect. I love The Crow. I have a tattoo of Brandon Lee's face as The Crow on my arm that I designed. It is by far and wide the best movie ever made.

I've seen all the sequels, this might help you decide if you ever want to give them a look.

The Crow: City of Angels
Starring: Vincent Perez, Mia Kirshner, Iggy Pop, Richard Brooks

The entire look and feel is a rip off of the first one. This time though they killed the guy and his son. Sarah from the first has grown up, found this guy and made him out to look like a shabby version of Brandon Lee. It's filled with bad acting, an all to recognizable plot, and none of the passion or soul the first one held.

The Crow: Salvation
Starring: Eric Mabius, Kirsten Dunst, Jodi Lynn O'Keefe, William Atherton, Dale Midkiff

The third movie. This one I actually recommend you watching, because like the comic's done by James O'Barr, this one stands on its own. It has nothing to do with the first Crow movie. It doesn't have the look or the feel of it, it's completely its own movie. Though it does have the straight to video feel, it's still quite well done and enchanting. Had this been the only sequel made it would have been fine.

The Crow: Wicked Prayer
Starring: Edward Furlong, Tara Reid, Emmanuelle Chiriqui, David Boreanaz, Dennis Hopper

This movie actually started out with a good feel. Then it all went downhill and when it hit bottom, it found rock. Edward Furlong as The Crow doesn't fit. A ten year old could kick his ass and everyone in this movie kicks his ass. David Boreanaz starts out strong then becomes the Devil (Yeah I'll give this away cause this movie's really that bad) and apparently the Devil is a Hommie. And Dennis Hopper apparently is a Satanic Hommie Pimp with a stupid fur coat and Macy Gray for one UGLY dancer. About twenty minutes in I had wished I didn't rent it and only finished watching it because I wanted to see just how terrible it was. Don't waste your money or your time, this movie kills brain cells.

I won't give away anything about the third because I think you should watch that one. It really is good on it's own.
